SOLO, society.ruber.id – Bandung bjb Tandamata, the defending champion, claimed the title of the second round of PLN Mobile Proliga 2023’s final four for women. After defeating Jakarta Pertamina Fastron with a score of 3-1 (25-18, 25-17, 14-25, 25-23) in GOR Sritex Arena Solo on Sunday (12/3/2023).
The same title was also seized by Bandung bjb Tandamata, coached by Alim Suseno, in the previous round of final four in Semarang a while ago.
However, the outcome of the match in Solo will no longer affect the two teams that have both secured their spots in the grand final to be held in GOR Amongrogo Jogja on 18-19 March.
“Alhamdulillah, we managed to win this match. My teammates and I made a lot of mistakes, resulting in us losing the third set.”
“However, we were able to come back and close the game with a victory in the fourth set,” said Bandung bjb Tandamata’s captain, Wilda Siti Nurfadhilah, after the game.
Meanwhile, Bandung bjb Tandamata’s chairman, Tachyan Iskandar, added that their team made mistakes, particularly in the receive or the first ball reception. As a result, the setter could not perfectly direct the ball for a counter-attack.
“We will evaluate everything as we prepare for the back-to-back grand final. We will fix the mistakes that still occur in our preparation for the grand final,” Tachyan said.
