BOGOR, society.ruber.id – Polsek Parung Panjang, a police station located in Bogor, has successfully secured a group of students who were suspected to be planning a gang fight on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
The students were found gathered at Warung Jaya (WarJa), located in Cikabon, Desa Cibunar, Kecamatan Parungpanjang, Kabupaten Bogor.
Kombes Pol. Ibrahim Tompo, the head of Public Relations for West Java Regional Police, urged parents and teachers to be more vigilant in monitoring their children’s activities in school and social environments to prevent any unwanted incidents.
According to AKP Suharto, the chief of Polsek Parung Panjang, the police have successfully apprehended the students who were suspected to be planning a gang fight.
They were found gathered at Warung Jaya (WarJa) in Kp. Cikabon Desa Cibunar Kec. Parung Panjang Kab. Bogor on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
A total of 22 male students were taken into custody, some of whom were underage and still attending high school.
Their names are SF Bin T als C (18), NF Bin RM (17), RDH Bin S (16), IPP Bin M (18), A Bin M (16), ZS Bin US (17), GG Bin US (19), MZ Bin H (18). SWS Bin S (19), N Bin M (19), MRA Bin AD (19), G Bin R (19), A Bin S (19). I Bin J (19), JA Bin S (18), IR Bin W (18), RA Bin IS (19). PR Bin SB (19), A Bin M (17), IJ Bin K (18), NA (18), and ADP (17).
It was reported that a group of students who were suspected to be planning the gang fight was initially spotted by a teacher named AULIA at Warung Jaya (Warja).
The teacher immediately reported it to the student task force and the local police station.
The Polsek Parung Panjang personnel, along with the student task force, quickly went to the location to examine the students and took them into custody.
The students were then taken to the Polsek Parung Panjang station for further investigation and counseling.
The police also contacted the school and parents of each student involved in the incident.
